Your missions

Job Overview
  • Responsible for achieving and maintaining the client specification as set in contractual requirements
  • Daily liaison with clients and Line Manager
  • Daily monitoring of high profile areas to ensure readiness.
  • Complete check sheets and issue to staff as appropriate ensuring tasks are completed
  • Good communication with other Supervisors and staff to promote a one team attitude
  • Completion of own daily schedule as set
  • Deal with any complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Compliance with client and Mitie Health and Safety
  • Report accidents and near miss as per company and client procedures
  • Maintain and keep up to date all Mitie documentation
  • Staff training and record keeping
  • Submitting accurate wage details to Payroll
  • Manage hours and organise holiday / sickness cover with Patient Experience Operations Services Manager (Cleaning)

Main Duties

  • Daily standard monitoring and carry out auditing
  • Check sheet of one scheduled area daily – record – ensure tasks completed - and pass to client
  • Checking and maintaining wards all areas within the Hospital.
  • Carry out cleaning planned Maintenance in line with customers requirements
  • Cleaning toilets
  • Check and replenish toilet paper, hand towels, & soap dispensers
  • Cleaning offices areas – all furniture fixtures and fitting as require
  • Sweep and mop hard floor areas
  • Wiping down skirting and window ledges
  • Cleaning stairs
  • Vacuuming
  • Checking and cleaning of all meeting rooms within the building
  • Aid with events as needed
  • Carry out other reasonable requests from client and/or line manager
What we are looking for
  • Must have Hospital/Healthcare Supervisory experience
  • BICSc Cleaning experience preferred
  • Possess good undersanding of staff rota and allocation
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work on own and in team
  • Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative
  • Flexibility essential in workload and possibly hours if need Work both pro-actively and re-actively
  • Undertake variety of tasks that are within this role, both internal and external
  • Basic knowledge & understanding of health and safety policies
  • Implementation of H&S policies and procedur
  • Basic IT Skills
  • Needs to represent Mitie values on site by being presentable, uniformed, affable and helpful at all times
  • Willing to go the extra mile
