Your missions

A Senior Project Manager is needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Service’s client. This position is remote and based out of in Indianapolis, IN.

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will assemble, guide, empower, and serve the team through excellence in project delivery resulting in value creation for our business and ultimately, our patients. You’ll be responsible for leading a team to deliver project outcomes, products, and services that address critical business problems in a complex IT environment by selecting the best project delivery method (i.e. Agile principles and practices/frameworks or Waterfall) that best fits the business needs. Therefore the Sr. Project Manager can take on one, or a combination, of the following roles in a squad, project, or program: Program Manager, Project Manager, Squad Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach.

As part of one or more of those roles, you will:
  • Engage with Leadership, both business and IT, to collaborate on the delivery of value at a rate that is sustainable and digestible for the team and business
  • Ensure promised business value is being earned by leveraging the value creation or value maintenance framework
  • Orchestrate the formation of a squad(s) and once established, closely interact with the product owner, partners, and the development team
  • Collaborate with and support other IT partner roles, with development and testing activities being performed by offshore teams in many cases
  • Guide the squad on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
  • Coach the team to learn and adopt agreed ways of working and reacting to potential challenges and questions
  • Facilitate Scrum working sessions and ceremonies as required and agreed upon by the team
  • Guide / lead the team through the project delivery lifecycle, using Agile or Waterfall methodologies and frameworks, managing dependencies, raising, mitigating, and communicating risks and issues
  • Communicate project status, decisions, timelines, and risks to various levels of the IT and business organizations as needed
  • Establish program/project governance structures as needed to deliver the project outcomes most efficiently and effectively
  • Manage project Statements of Work (SOWs), change requests, RFPs, and other activities required to staff projects and procure infrastructure as needed
  • Manage project financials, including project budgets, forecasts, and spend for the project(s)
  • Has a solid understanding of and experience working with applications, integrations, and deployments
Additional Requirements:
  • Track record of successfully leading business-critical complex projects leveraging virtual teams
  • Certification in scrum methodologies (Scrum-Master and/or Product-Owner)
  • Work experience in the Life Sciences / Pharma industry
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, validation & delivery
  • Experience in organizational change management preferred
  • Experience with Agile organizations and Agile ways of working
  • Experience with tools like Smartsheet, Trello, JIRA
  • Experience with gSuite (gSheets, gSlides, gDocs, gDrive, gChat & hangouts, gSites, g+, ...)

  • Has an agile mindset with the ability to pivot between roles and approaches based on team needs
  • Champions Agile principles and practices within the squad and leads by example
  • Has a strong focus on delivering MVPs, focused on incremental value rather than perfection
  • Have strong soft skills typically required in stakeholder engagement (empowering people, influencing, negotiation, conflict management)
  • Exhibits servant leadership style towards the product owner, scrum master, development team and the wider organization
