In your new job as a Facilities Manager, you will manage hard & soft services scope (technical, cleaning, reception, concierge, pest, catering & estates). You will manage a team of approx. 20 on site colleagues people plus sub-contractors ensuring that an effective and efficient service is delivered and maintained, service levels are in line with the contractual KPI's and monitor and control supplier, sub-contractor and labour costs to ensure financial targets are achieved. Build a strong working relationship with internal and external customers including sub-contractors to ensure that all services are delivered in a professional, timely and cost-effective manner. Compile accurate management information/reporting as required and submit in a timely manner to appropriate stakeholders. Play a key role to support any site audits, including but not limited to, quality, health and safety, environmental and finance. The role is customer focussed, being part of a collaborative client FM group to deliver world class service to our building users.
What we are looking for
The successful Facilities Manager will have experience of FM operational delivery, prefferably in a high profile/corporate envirinment with a focus on the customer experience with a keen eye for standard details, as well as delivering compliance and statutory buildikng management. Hold a suitable Health and Safety certificate (IOSH Managing Safely or similar) and Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is extremely desirable. Be able to demonstrate a proven track record managing multi-disciplined teams including recruitment, disciplinaries, grievances, appraisals, and performance management. Can show an ability to manage operational finance, i.e. management of WIP, debt and billing activities and highly computer literate and experienced in using Microsoft applications.
