To help facilitate this continued growth and meet demand we are looking for a Design Authority to join the team. You will create design guidelines for each project, whilst attending customer meetings and representing the company as best in class. We are also looking for an individual who can integrate well with the team and contribute to better ways of working.
The role can be based at any of our main offices located throughout the UK and is open to agile working.
What are the key duties & responsibilities?
The Design Authority will receive, log, read and understand customer design specifications. Completing gap analysis on the specifications, whilst creating and managing design guidelines for each project. You will be responsible for checking CAD output for quality, holding regular meetings with engineers and CAD to guide on specifications, ensuring the company is working within customer design parameters.
The ideal candidate will confidently represent the company on customer design calls, manage First Time Right data and reporting functionality whilst also being responsible for ensuring forecasted drawing throughput is met.
You will have the skills and experience to maintain internal project and financial databases and tools, along with data in customers databases and tools. Whilst at all times manage the customer relationships to ensure continuity of work.
