JOB SUMMARY:
The Post-Acute Learning & Development Specialist will contribute to RestorixHealth in the provision of training and continued learning activities provided by RestorixHealth to business affiliates and other health care professionals as well as internal staff development. This service is aligned with RestorixHealth’s business initiatives, mission, vision, and values.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist Learning & Development Team with the creation of clinical tools (e.g., training/education, protocols/algorithms, competencies/assessment tools/forms, etc.) that meet the requirements related to the standards of care and best practices for the prevention and treatment of wounds, OUT and any new clinical programs that are developed
2. Support and collaborate with the Vice President Post-Acute Learning & Development and Director, Post-Acute Learning &Development
3. Collaborate with Learning & Development Team and other company channels to advise on and design appropriate programs and processes to eliminate identified gaps
4. Support Learning & Development Team in helping to design and executing the development and implementation of the most effective Learning & Developmental systems to minimize gaps
5. Utilizes established tools to measure training effectiveness
6. Provide reports and metrics to leadership regarding Learning & Development.
7. Provide a mechanism of continuous communication regarding return on investment in Learning & Development services
8. Assists Learning & Development team in conducting research, creation, development, and updates to all educational and training materials for the Organization, including outward facing materials
9. Work with the Learning & Development team to help determine what type of training is considered best for the Company and work with your clients to help obtain buy in and generate excitement
10. Support the Learning & Development Team as a facilitator to bring together various tools/resources (people, technology, written materials/education modules) to help develop educational pieces to meet the needs of our internal staff and external customer
11. Administers and upholds all the Company’s values, and policies and procedures
12. Continuously work towards the Company’s goal and vision

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with team members from various channels on projects as needed
  • Provide clinical oversight and direction to RestorixHealth Post-Acute staff as needed
  • Support the department in the preparation of publications and webinars for related journals, magazines, and outside organizations on behalf of the Company
  • Maintains communication with the site staff to ensure excellent customer care
  • Create and prepare presentations for the Company in support of corporate speaking engagements
  • Communicate effectively, across all platforms, with all levels of associates throughout the Company as needed
  • Assume other educational, speaking and clinical development responsibilities as determined by the Company
  • Other educational and clinical research responsibilities as determined by the Company
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
  • Medical/clinical background preferred
  • Formal project management experience a plus
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Project
  • Advance Wound Certification – Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), Wound Care Certified (WCC), Wound Ostomy Certification Nurses Certification Board (WOCNB); or equivalent preferred or will obtain within the first year in the position
  • Other related or equivalent board certifications (e.g., Certified Diabetes Educator) preferred
  • Healthcare education and training experience required
  • Five-plus years’ experience in fast paced corporate and clinical environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires periods of time in which sitting, standing, use of hand and foot motion, vision, hearing, summarizing, focusing with frequent interruptions along with other physical, sensory and cognitive sensory functions are required.
