    Job description

    Swan is looking for a Software Engineer to join its tech team of 50+ people. The Engineering team is by far the largest at Swan. This team includes Software developers, who build payments and end-customer applications, as well as Infrastructure, DevOps, and Security.
    Swan has a diverse team of engineers from all over the place. Co-building is at the heart of the way we work. We believe in challenging each other. Being frank, but empathetic is the best way to get things done! It's also more fun.

    We are looking for a QA Analyst who is excited about helping us growing our software quality.

    As a QA Analyst, you will work closely with the IT team, the integration team, the product team and other business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

    You will wake up each morning with 2 main goals:

    • Help us to identify and monitor the whole issues on Swan's platform
    • Help us to write tests to improve our software

    ✨ Your mission

    • Writing the functional tests and creating the performance tests
    • Creating the user journey steps
    • Running the tests
    • Creating bugs tickets
    • Monitoring the existing issues tickets
    • Creating process - templates, RACI, good practices

    ✨ What is a typical week for a QA Analyst at Swan ?

    • Every morning you will assist to the teams meetings
    • You will be monitoring the Linear board issue to follow up the bug tickets
    • You will create the test cases for the new features
    • You will identify the tests to create for the user journey
    • Meetings with the Product Managers to identify the new feature tests cases/corner cases
    • You will analyze the bugs of the week with our Head of QA to report all the issues created
    • You will identify the process missing and write a new quality process to implement in the company
    • You will run the TNRs before every main release


        Preferred experience

        You're a great match if:

        • 2-4 years of QA experience as QA tester or QA analyst in a start-up, scale up, or in the banking / fintech industry
        • Ability to design/perform backend (API) tests would be a big plus
        • You can read the logs and analyze them
        • Strong analytical skills, you have an eye for detail
        • JS or GraphQL automation experience would be such a good surprise (not mandatory)
        • Ability to communicate with clarity, humility, and precision
        • Excellent working abilities in English
