UX Designer

We're headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, but have offices in Lisbon and Stuttgart (opening soon). Recently we closed our first VC round, so we will grow our team heavily in the coming months. You'll be part of a small, yet growing, hungry, highly motivated, and open-minded team. You'll have the freedom to drive the creation of an innovative new product and bring new ideas to the table, while having the flexibility to work remotely.

Tasks

For our next phase of growth, we are looking to add a talented and motivated UX Designer to join our product team. You will play an integral role in designing, improving, and delivering products in a customer-centric manner that will empower consumer goods brands and suppliers to better connect, collaborate, and transact.

In this position, you will:

• Be a pioneer in the development of an innovative marketplace and SaaS solution for the consumer goods industry
• Be an integral part of our product team to support our product-led growth approach
• Design, plan and execute user interviews to gather insights about the needs, emotions and behaviors of our users
• Deliver a UX roadmap and strategy in alignment with our commercial and product teams
• Create new designs incl. user journeys, process maps, wireframes, and prototypes
• Closely interact with our engineering team to define the product backlog

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and values:

• Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, product)
• At least 3-5 years experience in designing web applications following a user-centric approach, ideally in a high-growth environment
• At least 3-5 years of experience in designing web applications following a user-centric approach, ideally in a high-growth environment
• Ability to prototype using tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
• Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, and commercial functions
• Experience with Storybook (Nice to have)
• Have an entrepreneurial, growth mindset and a hands-on attitude that takes full ownership of work
• Be a team player with high integrity
• A customer focus, and a strong drive for results
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent context changes
• Good relationship skills
• English is mandatory, German or Portuguese is a plus
• If you live within train distance of our offices in Zurich, Lisbon or Stuttgart we consider as a big plus

Our current platform is developed using Spring Framework, Elasticsearch, Postgresql, React, Typescript, Keycloak, AWS.
