As a Controller you will be responsible for Credit and Collections, Procurement, Payroll, Vendor Management, and Bookkeeping.

Skills
- 6+ years of Finance, Accounting or Shared Services experience with 3+ years of management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with documenting business processes and identifying, and implementing improvement opportunities
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with change management, program management and stakeholder management
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP accounting
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA and/or CPA
- Familiarity with automated Shared Services solutions
- Netsuite and Salesforce experience
- Experience with reporting to a U.S. based parent company
- Software or technology industry experience
- Expertise or familiarity with local labor laws, payroll process and bookkeeping of Germany and Hungary
- You must be already based in Hungary and be eligible for employment within the EU
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing multiple EMEA entities from a U.S. GAAP reporting and local compliance point of view
- Oversee global shared services function, including Credit and Collections, Procurement and Vendor Management, Payroll, and Bookkeeping
- Manage processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including supporting the external audit and ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Drive the development and management of best practices within the shared services function, to ensure efficiency, standardization, accuracy, and compliance with policies and practices.
- Act as a lead for process improvement and optimization initiatives across the function, including processes, systems and organizational structure.
- Anticipate and ensure the development and maintenance of scalable Shared Services capabilities (processes, systems, policies/procedures, organization and compliance) to support the company growth.
- Maintains KPIs and dashboards for all key Shared Services functions.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the control infrastructure across Shared Services, including data gathering and issue management.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop cross-functional processes and structures that improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the hiring, training, mentoring and development or direct and/or indirect reports.
- Support the global Finance team in design, testing, and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processes
