The Talent Lead will build and implement future focused, talent programs and processes that build strategic capabilities which advance Diversified’s corporate strategy.
In this role, the individual plays a key role on our People Team by partnering with business leaders, cross-functional teams to design and deliver leadership development programs and solutions. In our first Talent & Development role, the Talent Manager will set strategy and lead design and delivery of talent programs and processes including leadership development, DEI, career development and talent management key performance indicators.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Design, develop, and operationalize key talent programs and processes including leadership development, D&I, succession planning and talent management.
- Design and develop just in time talent solutions based on data analytics, corporate strategy or audience needs.
- Incorporate Diversified’s Values and DEI strategy into the overall talent program
- Plan and propose initiatives to support program/initiative management including building D&I capability and assessing gaps/opportunities in our learning experiences, D&I employee resource group (ERG) programming and overall effectiveness to promote ongoing inclusion
- Manage and implement talent planning and leadership programs and processes for our successors, high-potentials, and other levels of leadership.
- Build strong relationships and communicate with business leaders and HR to align the business strategy and organizational needs with the appropriate leadership development and change management solutions.
- Advise and influence business leaders on organizational design, leadership development, employee engagement and retention, performance criteria and measurement, succession planning, and talent reviews.
- Participate in the planning and development of Early Talent Programs (coop, internships, campus recruiting, etc.)
- Use data driven analysis to anticipate talent needs and provide insights to leaders for competitive decision making on key areas such as retention, development, succession planning and engagement.
- Facilitate workshops, ideation session and training periodically.
- Coordinate with HR Associate Engagement team to implement and execute designed initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and budgets associated with talent initiatives.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Talent & Development with experience in leadership development, coaching, learning & development, and program management
- Experience and expertise in creating talent policies and practices that amplify and create equity
- Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Experience in facilitating in-person and virtual content
- Ability to travel to key sites to support program design and delivery
- Strong consulting skills in assessing learning/training needs and making appropriate recommendations
- Critical thinker who also brings a creative mindset and focuses on continuous improvement
- Team player with ability to build productive relationships and collaborate across the organization
