Due to internal growth and investment, we have an exciting job opportunity for a Bid Writer. You will be producing distinctive written content across health, social care, life sciences and other niche markets.

Every day you will…

• Create content in line with bid processes and responses
• Work as part of a wider bid team, supporting the creation and development of written content to the highest standard
• Understand win themes to develop written content incorporating these themes and position the Acacium Group companies correctly to secure business wins
• Hold storyboarding sessions and obtain relevant information from SMEs to develop winning content
• Objectively review written content to develop and enhance continuously
• Prioritise and producing plans for the efficient and successful completion of written content to meet deadlines
• Create convincing storyboards for question responses
• Produce drafts for review and provide editorial oversight of written content
• Work towards improving and enhancing the standard and effectiveness of written responses
• Perform editorial reviews of written bid responses – proof-read and edit bid responses as needed to improve clarity, accuracy and readability
• Perform reviews of written bid responses to improve clarity, accuracy and readability
• Apply best practice principles (e.g. APMP), and provide guidance and advice to bid and business colleagues
• Contribute to the overall success of the bid process, including working to team and personal objectives

To thrive in this role, you will ideally have the following experience/qualifications…

• Experience in bid, content, or editorial writing
• Experience producing written content for life sciences, health, and social care
• A degree or formal qualification in English or creative writing
