Responsibilities
The Professional Coder reviews, analyzes, and codes professional/physician medical record documentation to include, but not limited to, medical diagnostic and E/M coding information for various practices in the hospital outpatient, hospital inpatient and clinic settings. Experience with radiology, pathology, lab diagnosis and CPT coding. Additional experience with NCD/LCD, CCI, and Residency Programs.
This position is 100% remote work. Individual may live anywhere in the US.

Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or coding credential of a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.
Minimum of 2 years of physician/professional coding experience with E/M services.
