10 Companies With Senior Remote Jobs This Summer

Remote Work

Every June, a new batch of "companies hiring remote jobs this summer" lists shows up, and almost none of them are useful if you are a Director, VP, or Head of with fifteen years behind you. The lists are real. The roles inside them usually are not built for your level. Scroll past the headline number and most of what is open is customer support, sales development, and entry-level coordination.

We wanted something different. So instead of pulling from a database of postings across every experience level, we went company by company and checked who has an actual senior remote role open on Jobgether right now: Director, VP, Head of, or a Senior Manager role with real budget and team scope behind it. If a company did not have one of those open today, it did not make the list, no matter how well known the brand is.

Is summer actually a good time for senior professionals to look for remote work?

Yes, and the data backs it up. Flexible work arrangements show up more often at the senior level than at any other career stage, according to Robert Half's 2026 Salary Guide analysis of job postings. Separately, FlexJobs found that 65% of remote roles in its database targeted experienced professionals in the first quarter of 2026, with sales and business development showing the strongest growth. Summer hiring slows in some sectors, but for senior remote roles specifically, the volume holds up.

Why most "companies hiring remote" lists do not work for a senior search

Most of these lists are built from raw posting volume. A company with 40,000 open jobs and a company with 40 open jobs both show up the same way: as a name on a list. What they do not tell you is whether either company has anything open at your level. We see this play out constantly with senior professionals who navigate a market that rewards volume, then get frustrated when none of the "matches" reflect their actual scope. That is not a personal failure. It is a structural mismatch between how these lists get built and what a senior search actually requires.

How we built this list

We reviewed live company listings on Jobgether and applied three filters. First, the company needed a remote role open today, not a role that existed last quarter or a brand that simply has a strong remote reputation. Second, the title had to be literally senior: Director, VP, Head of, or Senior Manager with genuine team or budget scope, not a Senior Engineer or Staff-level individual contributor title that happens to carry the word "senior." Third, we looked for companies where this was not a fluke. A single Director title buried inside forty junior listings did not clear the bar. We wanted companies where senior roles consistently land, not companies that happened to have one open today and ten tomorrow.

10 companies with senior remote roles open right now

1. Dropbox

Dropbox's remote senior openings span go-to-market and people leadership, including a Director-level role over scaled sales and a Director of People Operations. Both carry global remote eligibility across the US and Canada, with title-appropriate compensation bands disclosed directly on the listing.

2. GitLab

As one of the largest fully remote companies in the world, GitLab keeps a deep bench of senior openings. Right now that includes a Director of Engineering role over its workflow and runner products, plus regional sales director openings covering France and the UK.

3. NVIDIA

NVIDIA's remote senior roles lean technical leadership rather than pure IC work: Senior Manager titles over datacenter software, AI networking software, and technical product and program management, each with real engineering teams underneath them.

4. DigitalOcean

DigitalOcean is hiring at the VP level for its data cloud business, alongside Director roles in corporate strategy and startup ecosystem development. This is one of the few cloud infrastructure companies on this list with a Vice President title currently open and fully remote.

5. Raytheon Technologies (RTX)

Defense and aerospace is not where most senior professionals think to look for remote work, but RTX currently has one of the deepest senior remote benches we found: a Director of Data and AI Enablement, an Associate Director role over long range air defense requirements, and several Senior Manager openings across procurement, remediation, and competitive strategy.

6. PlayStation

PlayStation's remote senior openings sit in product and marketing leadership: a Director of Product Management based in the UK, and two Senior Manager roles in games marketing based in the US and UK.

7. Zapier

Zapier is hiring a Director of Product Marketing at the expert and leadership level, alongside a Senior Manager role over enterprise sales and a Senior Engineering Manager leading its India engineering team.

8. Paddle

Paddle has the broadest senior bench of the SaaS companies on this list right now: a Director of FP&A, a VP of Revenue Operations, a Head of Content, and a Head of Analytics Engineering, all open and fully remote across the UK, Ireland, and Canada.

9. CaptivateIQ

CaptivateIQ is hiring across two Director of Engineering and Product Management tracks, plus an Alliances Director role over technology partnerships. For a company of its size, that is a notably deep senior bench.

10. Bloomreach

Bloomreach's senior remote openings include a Director of AI Enablement and Security based in the US and an Associate Director of Sales for the DACH region, alongside multiple Senior Engineering Manager roles in its AI search and infrastructure teams.

Where senior remote roles are concentrated this summer

Across the ten companies above, the senior roles we found were not evenly spread. Engineering and product leadership accounted for the largest share, followed by revenue and go-to-market leadership, then finance leadership. Marketing leadership showed up less often, but when it did, it was consistently at the Head of or Director level rather than a Manager title. This lines up with broader market data. Remote postings in the FlexJobs database are increasingly tied to high-value roles such as senior product managers, data engineers, and senior software engineers, several of which carry six-figure compensation. Senior remote work is not shrinking. It is concentrating in specific functions, and engineering and revenue leadership are where it shows up first.

How to approach a senior remote search this summer

A senior search does not benefit from applying to more roles. It benefits from applying to the right ones, and from showing up as someone who already understands the company's context before the first conversation happens.

Start with company fit before title fit. A Director of Engineering role at a 40-person fintech and a Director of Engineering role at a 200-person infrastructure company are not the same job, even if the title matches exactly. Read the team structure, the stage of the company, and what the role is actually accountable for before deciding it is worth your time.

Treat your LinkedIn profile as the trust layer, not an afterthought. By the time a hiring manager looks you up, your CV already got you in the door. What keeps you in the conversation is whether your LinkedIn presence backs up the seniority your CV claims. A thin profile creates doubt at exactly the moment you need confidence.

Watch for real scope signals in the listing itself. Compensation bands, reporting lines, and team size disclosed up front are signals that a company has done the work of defining the role properly. Vague listings at the senior level are often vague for a reason.

Frequently Asked Questions

What companies are hiring for senior remote jobs this summer?

Based on live listings we reviewed on Jobgether, Dropbox, GitLab, NVIDIA, DigitalOcean, Raytheon Technologies, PlayStation, Zapier, Paddle, CaptivateIQ, and Bloomreach all currently have Director-level or higher remote roles open. Availability changes frequently, so confirm current openings before applying.

Are remote jobs harder to find at the senior level?

Not necessarily. Industry data shows flexible work arrangements are actually more common for senior-level roles than for early-career roles. The challenge is not scarcity. It is that most public lists of "remote companies" are not filtered for seniority, which makes relevant roles harder to spot.

What counts as a "senior" title for this kind of search?

We treat Director, VP, Head of, and Senior Manager roles with genuine team or budget scope as senior. A Senior Software Engineer or Staff-level individual contributor title is senior in skill level, but it is a different search than an executive or people-leadership search.

How often does a list like this change?

Frequently. Company hiring needs shift week to week, and a role open today can close within days. Treat any list of "companies hiring" as a starting point for research, not a guarantee that a specific listing is still live.

Is it better to apply directly through a company site or through a platform like Jobgether?

Either works. The advantage of using a platform is visibility into match strength and structural feedback on why a role does or does not fit your background, which is harder to get applying cold through a career site.
