Position Summary

We are looking for a JavaScript developer who is proficient with HTML, CSS, JQuery, React.js

• Good understanding of JSON data manipulation Techniques
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

• Great interpersonal and communication skill
• Experience in JavaScript build tools
• Expert in any one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, JQuery, NodeJS)

Responsibilities

• JavaScript Development: Write JavaScript code to integrate D3.js into web applications, manipulating and rendering data-driven visualizations in real time
• Data Manipulation: Prepare and transform data for visualization, including cleaning, formatting, and structuring JSON data.
• Interactivity: Implement interactive features, such as tooltips, zooming, panning, and filtering, to enhance user engagement with data visualizations
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  
  

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Bitbucket
• Familiarity with Node.js to write backend API
• Familiarity with D3.js will be a plus (+).
• Data Visualization: Use D3.js to create visually appealing and interactive data visualizations that effectively convey complex data and insights to users
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Essential skills: JavaScript / React (will be a plus)
• Desirable skills HTML5, and JavaScript, knowledge of databases and operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of development tools such as Git / Bitbucket
• 1+ year experience in a commercial environment
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
