Position Overview: 

Precise is seeking a Test Engineer with Quality Management Experience for a challenging and dynamic project. If you are innovative and able to lead a diverse team with multiple applications, then please apply today! You must be able to handle multiple priorities and challenges daily. We are also seeking someone with manual and automation experience. 

Work Location: Rockville, MD

Clearance Requirement: Successful candidates must be able to complete a Public Trust background check and must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Involve in planning, monitoring, organizing and controlling of testing activities and tasks.
  • Develop test objectives, test policies, test strategies and test plans.
  • Deploying and managing resources for testing.
  • Define test estimation techniques.
  • Perform project risk analysis and design plans/ solutions to address them.
  • Generate test evaluation reports.
  • Analyze, design, develop, and maintain test cases, test approaches, and test plans.
  • Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and report issues found during test execution.
  • Develop/Review test artifacts (test cases, test specifications, etc.) that validate the requirements assigned to an application release.
  • Perform initial level of root cause analysis when any issue is identified in the application.
  • Support continuous improvement of the current test process.
  • Create Test deliverables at the end of each sprint/release.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: BA/BS Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Five plus years of experience with functional Testing.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
  • Expertise in writing Test Procedures.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Possession of excellent team leadership and development, client relationship, Problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a remote team or with geographically dispersed team.
